Seoul, Korea

Overview

Visitor Information

🌿 Explore Seoul’s Most Beautiful Royal Palace

Changdeokgung Palace (창덕궁) is one of the most well-preserved royal palaces from Korea’s Joseon Dynasty and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its elegant traditional architecture and harmonious natural surroundings, the palace offers visitors a peaceful escape into Korea’s royal history right in the center of Seoul.

Unlike other palaces, Changdeokgung was designed to blend naturally with the landscape, creating a unique atmosphere filled with gardens, courtyards, pavilions, and scenic walking paths. One of the palace’s most famous attractions is the Secret Garden (Huwon), a beautiful royal garden once reserved exclusively for kings and royal family members.
